An 1,070 sq.m. (11,500 sq.ft.) interior fit-up to the lower level of the Brodie Centre at the University of Manitoba. The facility is a ‘state-of-the-art’ training centre for medical students and medical professionals to develop skills and techniques in mock scenarios. The centre features an operating room, an emergency room and clinical exam rooms with computerized simulation dummies (SIMMAN), video and audio recording and standardized patient facilities. Finishes and design details set the stage to mimic an actual healthcare facility. This $4,600,000 facility was opened in 2008.
