A 55 bed acute care hospital and community health care development addition to the existing 70 bed Swan Valley Lodge Personal Care Home. The project is a two storey, 7,500 sq.m. (81,000 sq.ft.) facility, including a surgical suite, emergency services, CSR, radiology and diagnostic services, laboratory, a large extended treatment/rehabilitation unit, chemotherapy and dialysis services. The project was completed in 2005 at a cost of $26,000,000. The building is designated as a Manitoba Hydro PowerSmart building, which includes a high performance building envelope and energy efficient lighting and mechanical systems.
