Flatlanders Inn, a transitional housing project, is located at 782 Main Street. The hundred year old brick and timber four storey building houses the Vineyard church on the main and a portion of the second floor. The transitional housing project is divided into three phases: Phase one on the remaining 7,000 sq.ft. of the second floor, phase two 700 sq.ft. of the third floor, and phase three, the remainder of the third floor, which is currently in Design Development. Flatlanders Inn consist of communal cooking and dining facilities, and couples units with private washroom and dormitory style sleeping arrangements. Construction cost for phase one was $250,000, phase two was $900,000, and phase three is estimated to be $1,000,000.
